It’s finally, finally here – “Red Stripe Heaven”

Well, after countless delays, being led off here and there with family commitments around the holiday, and then on that final home stretch being mysteriously crippled with an internet upload speed that would seem slow in the mid 90’s, my Candystripe re-do shoot is finally, finally up.

Fancy a stroll in the park?

Truth be told, the shoot went up a few days ago but I was so cross with my computer that I didn’t want to interact with it for a few days.  Sometimes we love our computers, sometimes we hate our computers.  In this case it was best for us to “be apart” for a while between all the babysitting I had to do during the upload and now. In other words, lots of me yelling at my computer going “What the Hell is wrong with you?”.

So yeah.  This was one of those shoots that was supposed to be easy, but ended up a much bigger production.  At least I hope the result speaks for itself and people think it’s worth the wait.

As I mentioned before in an earlier blog post, about 13 years ago I first created the candystripe outfit, and though I had gotten some nice pictures out of it, this was all before my breast implants, and I never actually finished the outfit properly.  So when I looked around at outfits that would be easy to re-shoot in, it was an easy choice.

London, 1999

In the intervening years, the hoopskirt sorta got trashed from people at nightclubs walking into them, the glovelet thingy really didn’t fit any more,  and even looking at the picture above you can tell that it was supposed to have more bows (at each intersection of the skirt).   So, I added new trim and a zillion bows, and also changed the bottommost peach satin to a material that wouldn’t wrinkle, and really cranked the thing up to 11…  The original hoops are still under there, but there’s yards upon yards of additional trim, and I worked a lot on straightening things out and making things stronger and more durable.

With the corset I ripped out a lot of the seams and re-sewed where the original sewing was rather amateur.  I also added real boning (what I used in ’98 was quite literally coat hangar wire), cleaned up and fixed the hem, added fancy trim, and also re-worked the front bodice to that it gave my bazongas some room to be out on display.  I ditched the old glovelets for gloves and “sleeve frillies” and then topped it off with a nice asymmetrical Victorian-inspired hat. Which in itself went on top of a luxurious up-do instead of the bob haircut and pillbox hat of the old version.  The result, well it’s more in tune with the original designs while reflecting my improved skills in millinery.

And oh yes, nice delicious erections...

For the set I painted a simple pink wall with contrasting stripes of maroon and then overloaded it with wall art, and borrowed a few chairs from my house, and featured a vintage sewing machine (that in itself I did a quickie-restoration job on too) that had been gathering dust in my studio.

I started on all this in late October, and as early November came around, I kept blowing deadlines as I really, really, REALLY wanted every detail to finally be there on this outfit.  From each bow (that was several trips to the cloth store right there because inevitably I ran out of ribbon a few times) to the new garters to disassembling and ironing many of the original parts before re-building, it just kept getting NOT done, day after day.

In the intervening weeks I finished a bunch of outfits for future shoots.  An amazing Carnivale /Vegas showgirl outfit with HUGE feather tail, an amazing Snow White costume I wore on Halloween, and I also put finishing touches on a Stewardess uniform that I made a while back.  But “Red Stripe Heaven” was still the next shoot on the list, so all the others were to wait.

add feather tail, + slot machine and poker table... Vegas showgirl!

the first version of this outfit in September in Montreal. It's been worked on a lot since then.

Sometime last week I finally got it all together and shot the photos.  It was one of those crazy shoots where I got it up three times, and those who are very observant can tell that I came thrice!  I did some variations as well, taking off the neck corset, the hoop skirt, and then the corset itself because the entire get-up seriously limits the kinds of poses one can do.

A few days editing them down to the 175 or so of the best ones (and when an outfit looks so good, it’s really hard to not use any from the pile), and then I got walloped with Thanksgiving, and sadly not being able to make a case to family members that I really, really needed to be editing auto-erotica right now.

Then for reasons unknown, my upload speed when I posted my shoot was excruciatingly slow, taking something like a half hour to upload 5 megs of stuff.  WTF?  And this was weirder considering that it was 4 in the morning and there was nothing else going on, like I wasn’t downloading stuff in the background.  Connections would be dropped and I’d have to babysit Fetch (the FTP program) and then make sure the few I uploaded came out ok.  I fully expect my fans to be complaining that such and such a picture is a dead link.  As far as I know, everything works right now.

So it’s up!  Sorry for all the delays.. Sometimes the best laid out plans really run asunder.  The good news is that I have a backlog of outfits ready for my next 3 or 4 shoots, and if I can whip up some sets pretty quickly, by the end of the year there’ll be a nice dam bursting and a whole flood of yummy shemale fetish cosplay erotica photo fantasies come to life!

Next up, shall we drive, or fly to our next destination?  May it be the casinos of Vegas or a house that 7 horny dwarfs live in?

“Red Stripe Heaven” is for viewing in my members area.
