Something every fan of mine needs to read..

My fans. I love them and they make my career possible, but I have to say, sometimes they don’t seem to get it.

Take my breast implant fundraiser for example, which I devised as a way to allow those who wanted to help me to do so. And also to give an opportunity for the thousands of people who have enjoyed my pictures for free, to give something back for all their masturbation fantasies.  People could contribute anonymously, or publicly.

It’s going swimmingly along.  It looks like my crowd funding is going to pretty much cover half of my costs. This means I can still swing the boob job, it’s just going to take me a little longer to squirrel away the rest of the funds.  But it will still happen.

So it’s the last 48 hours and in the anonymous comments section I get this distressing remark-

“I sent you a latex cat suit many years ago an got NOTHING in return not even a photo of you in it!……… waste of time !  – (Private comment)”

(Name withheld)

Now somewhere out there, years ago I had something of a wish list on my site which has or had some latex items on it. And I have received a few nice latex catsuits. All of which I have done several photo shoots in.   Since this guy never said which catsuit it was, it may be one of these fine specimens of rubbery shininess..

(Actually if I think about it, I can probably remember where and when I got each one of these, but when some of them are from 10 years ago, it all becomes a blur)

I can assure this guy (and at the moment I can only contact him by replying back in the comment section on the indiegogo site), that if I did receive this latex catsuit and it did fit, then I most definitely shot pictures in it.  I don’t actually recall ever receiving a latex catsuit that didn’t fit me.  I’m guessing he is probably talking about the light blue one, or the bronze one.  All of these I’ve done several photo shoots in.

However, a few questions I have to ask.

Did this dude buy me something off a wish list anonymously? And then magically expect me to know who bought it for me?

Is / was there an email correspondence? An email trail eventually goes kind of cold, you know.   When you have a list of emails, things tend to drop off the bottom of the list and sure, you can go digging for them, but sooner or later, life just gets in the way and things get forgotten.   Worst of all, most of the email I receive on yahoo these days in spam.  Plus yahoo mail’s spam filters are notorious for withholding important emails.

My email addresses have been and always have been tara_emory@yahoo.com and tara_mistress@yahoo.com  Since yahoo mail sucks I also have emorexproductions@gmail.com

I think any if you out there who have had the same email for a dozen years knows that after a while the account becomes full if spam once your name gets out there on spamming lists.

Next, was this guy a member of my site?   I do not know that (and impossible to find out now without asking him), and if he was or is, he would have easily seen me put his sexy gift to use.  But perhaps just maybe it took me a few months to take the pictures as I was waiting to put together a background or something, or a great location to take the shots (I see a bit of Jamacia there). Who knows? Again, were talking about something that could’ve taken place 10 years ago.

And lastly, I need to stress that I have thousands of fans. Perhaps even tens of thousands if one is to believe my 17,000 Yahoo group members and 14,000 twitter followers. Who knows how many of those are spambots or whatever, but I think I can say that there are probably 10,000 people out there who are aware of who I am.

Now how the Hell is this guy (or anyone) going to stand out from the crowd of 10,000?

Does this guy have a particularly memorable name?  No. For all I know, he easily could be like every person on my yahoo group and yahoo messenger list who is using a handle.  How the fuck am I supposed to know that John Q Fan is also”chevytahoe4u2006uk”. Really, how? The vast majority of my fans are just handles, I don’t know their real names, and even if they’re once told to me, ain’t no way I’m going to remember that, especially if they also don’t have any pictures of them.

Because in the end, I’ve always been locatable on the internet as Tara Emory. I’ve self shot over 50,000 dirty pictures. (I havent counted in ages, it mught be more like 100,000). I have practically invented the #selfie.  I am a very visible celebrity.   If you’re just someone who has viewed my pictures anonymously or has contacted me through a fake name, chances are I’m not going to remember you.

Let me put it this way. When you see a picture of me on the Internet and I’m looking back at you, on the other side of the picture, I cannot see you gazing at me. The Magic Picture Box does not work that way.

It’s still completely possible that I met this guy in person, but as far as someone buying me a catsuit at a store, I do recall that happening once.  I have a vague memory of going to the DV8 store in like 2002 and getting that black Skin Two catsuit.  And I might have been on a date with a guy.  But maybe that’s where another outfit came from, or maybe that outfit came from somewhere else.  To the guy who bought me a gift, this may be the one time in their life that they buy a kinky gift for a highly visible and unique fetish model, but to me, yeah, they’re just one of thousands of not particularly distinctive guys who have done things like this for me.

I know that sounds shitty, but it really is what the celebrity/fan dynamic is.  I know that makes me sound like a narcissist, but hey, whatever. If I didn’t have some kind of narcissitc tendencies, I wouldn’t be doing all the unique a crazy things I do in life. I would have blended into the background with all the other regular people a long, long time ago.

So, keeping that in mind –  anyone who still wants to add to my implant fund, please still do! I will be honoring all the perks that I said I will honor. And yes, I will be in email contact with all of them.  There’s only a day and a half left and then, well, you won’t hear me bitch about it any more. Well, that is unless I try to do another kickstarter for another project.  (Hmmmmm….)

It might be worth mentioning that I received a few donations via snail mail and though I appreciate all the help I can get, a donation received “under the table” is a sure fire way of me forgetting to honor a perk.  The way the indiegogo website is made, it’s set up systematically so that I have people’s addresses and each donator is an entry and there’s even a box I can check off when I’ve fulfilled a perk.

When people draw out of the lines, it’s more work for me and inevitably something slips through the cracks and some fan ends up pissed off, you know, because I forgot them.
