This beach, you can walk almost a half mile out (I counted at least 900-1000 steps) before it goes to waist high to neck high.
And you feel like someone plopped you in the middle of the ocean. No voices, no artificial noises, just the sound and feel of the waves pushing you and realizing how insignificant you are. Yet without the panic of really drowning because you can reach the bottom.
I am insignificant in this universe, and that’s an okay thing to believe in.
Believing in the absence of something is not the absence of belief.
